Melrose Awards 2024

To celebrate the Melrose Center’s 10th Anniversary, we’re bringing back the Melrose Awards for 2024! The submission period is May 1 – August 31. The winners will be announced at a Melrose Awards Presentation on November 9.

Contest Rules & Eligibility Requirements

• Participants must have completed the Melrose Center General Orientation.
• The contest is open to all ages. Entries for contestants under the age of 18 must be submitted by a guardian.
• The project must be the participants’ original creation.
• The project needs to have been at least partially created using Melrose Center resources between January 1, 2020 and August 31, 2024. AI tools may only be used to enhance a project, not to create the work itself.
• The project can be created by more than one person, but must be submitted by a designated adult member of the group.
• Projects serving as crowdsourcing will not be accepted.
• Projects must be submitted in the form of a web address that leads directly to the image, audio file, video, etc. Access to the file must not require a login.
• Limit one entry per category.
• OCLS staff and immediate family are not eligible.
• The library reserves the right to disqualify an entry.
• The library reserves the right to not have an award winner in a category.
