The Melrose Center will be expanding sound recording services in October!
UPDATE: A new 6’x6′ ADA accessible Single Wall Sound Booth provides room for collaborators to work in comfort, while our 8′ x16′ ADA accessible Double Wall Isolation Sound Booth will be perfect for podcasting. The addition of a larger booths for audio recording and podcasting will be available in late autumn. As part of this project our current booths will need to be taken offline and rebuilt beginning October 9th . We expect to re-open soundbooth reservations in early 2024. The Melrose Film Festival 2023 presents a special encore “Best of the Fest” in-person screening at the Melrose Center on Saturday October 7, 2023 from 1-5pm. As Melrose Film Festival shifted to online screenings in 2020-2022, we’re excited to share award winners from all categories from 2018-2022 on the big LED screen. This includes documentaries, shorts, micro-shorts, music videos, and animation from around the world.

The rich history of the Orange County Library System’s Albertson Public Library and Orlando Public Library is captured in these photographs taken through the decades. Images portray library patrons using resources and technology of different eras, library staff members engaged in everyday activities, and compelling shots of the two buildings that have occupied the corner of Rosalind Ave and Central Boulevard for the last 100 years. The exhibit will be on display through November 2023.
