4th Annual Melrose Film Festival

Join us as we celebrate the art of visual storytelling in short films, animation and music videos with the 4th annual Melrose Film Festival. This year’s festival is all virtual, with online screenings of 77 selections representing more than 20 countries chosen from over 1,600 submissions. Categories include Animated Shorts, Documentaries, Micro Shorts, Music Videos and Short Films. Melrose Center staff will also offer virtual events on scene and character development, sound effects, and 3D and motion capture animation on select dates throughout the festival.

Screenings will premiere Thursday, September 9 at noon, and will remain accessible through Thursday, September 23 at 6:00 P.M.

Studios, Simulators and Sound Booths Return July 1

Beginning July 1, Melrose Studios, Simulators and Sound Booths will be available for reservation. Melrose Members who have access credentials for the Audio Studio, Photo Studio or Video Studio can reserve available sessions online now! Members who have Flight or Driving Simulator access credentials will be able to call starting in July to reserve up to two hours per day on each Simulator.

Also July 1, Sound Booths will join Editing Bays and Editing Workstations as resources available to all Melrose Members. Each of the Melrose Center’s two Sound Booths will be available to reserve once per day for two-hour sessions. Melrose Members will also be able to use available seating in the Center’s open area to use their own computers and devices for creative projects.

Looking ahead, we expect Studio Orientations and Assessments, Simulator Orientations and key in-person equipment classes to return in September.
