More good news! The Sound Booths are now available for reservation. They are equipped with microphones and digital recorders. They have just what you need to record your next podcast, voice over project, and more!
Once you’ve completed the General Orientation you can reserve a Sound Booth for your next project!
Would love more info (cost, lead time etc)
Looking to put together a voice demo.
Cheers,

Hi, Jason! If you have an Orange County Library System card that is in good standing and have already attended the Melrose Center General Orientation, you can reserve a Sound Booth 3 times a week–2 hours each time–for free. If you are not eligible for a card with us, no worries…you can still access the Sound Booths for a small fee. I think the booths would work really great for your voice demo. Here’s a little more booking information. Hope you can make it out soon!
Any timeline for when the Audio Studio will be ready for use?
Hey, Victor! The Audio Studio is coming along nicely. They just finished up the acoustic treatment. While we don’t have a set date, we anticipate it becoming available very soon. We’re hoping to share more information regarding the Audio Studio in the next week or two.
Is the video studio open yet? If not, what’s an eta on that?
So glad you asked, Colby! The Video Studio Stage area (green screen, lights, camera) are available for booking now! Check out this post for more information.
